It’s the weekend!!

Weekends are so different for us now. We aren’t running around trying to visit people or travel. I miss the travel. But it is really nice to be able to just be at home more.

We’re having some very unseasonably warm temperatures the last few days and it’s supposed to last all weekend!!

I’m super excited because we can get some fall outside work done and maybe even take a bike ride!

We made it to the weekend! 🙂

I’m excited for tomorrow because my parents are coming to visit for the day. We haven’t seen them in person since mid-July, so it will be nice to hang out with them for a few hours.

Friday! Yeah!!

The Hubster is heading off on a fishing trip with his friends and I just realized that I’m going to be all by myself for the first time in months.

I don’t think we’ve spent time apart from each other since January.

This is crazy.

I have big plans to drive to the big fancy mall about an hour away and wander around until my heart is content. 🙂

It doesn’t even feel like Friday today – we were off Monday and Tuesday.

So it’s Friday and I didn’t feel like I had to earn it this week.

Yay!

Before we really get anywhere, I wanted to remember what happened 19 years ago.

It’s hard to believe it was 19 years ago in some ways but on the other hand, it’s been a long 19 years. And I imagine it’s still just as hard for all the families of the victims.

Today, I’m keeping all of them – the victims, the first responders, the families, the healthcare workers, all who were affected, in my prayers.

Happy Friday! 🙂

It’s the best Friday ever because I’m off of work for a long holiday weekend! And I don’t have to return to work until Wednesday! WAHOO!!

We’re going to take the camper out for a trip this weekend so wish us luck! It’s the first time we’re going somewhere just the two of us and not a known place (like my parent’s front yard).
