The Hubster proposed to me 11 years ago.
That’s what we were.
We’d normally go out to dinner and reminisce about how I am the worst person to surprise and had no idea what was happening for about 6 hours after he proposed.
I was a complete robot.
But here we are…11 years later…
Love you Hubster! 🙂
I have a feeling there will be a lot of opinions on this, but after a lot of thought and discussion, The Hubster and I visited our family for a quick Memorial Day weekend visit.
We decided that after 8 weeks of not going anywhere, seeing anyone, and being safe, it was okay for us to visit people who did the same.
I have been eating and craving the weirdest foods since we’ve been home and I’m curious if everyone else is the same way.
So it’s my second day back in the office – I’m only working in the office on Fridays.
I got used to working from home – the pajamas, the working outside, the slippers, the endless amount of snacks. 🙂
In any case, I’m linking up with Erika and Andrea to share my favorite things this week.
It’s another month in quarantine.
But there’s still things I can be thankful for this month.
It’s time to link up with Shay and Sheaffer to talk about What’s Up Wednesday for May!
Being cooped up at home means that I just shop on Amazon all. day. long.
Quite honestly, it’s not even Amazon.
It’s just online shopping.
But let’s talk about what I’ve gotten from Amazon!
Happy Memorial Day!
This year, instead of parades and picnics, we’re probably all celebrating with our families at home.
Let’s all take a moment to remember all of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and for us to be at home with our families today.
And for sure this year, adding all the essential workers who we lost due to them treating us during this pandemic.
You guys – today is my first full day back in the office.
You’d think I’d be more excited about being back out in the world, but no.
Setting the alarm clock for an hour earlier is zero fun.
Me needs lots o coffee today.
I’m linking up with Erika and Andrea to share my favorite things this week.
I’m going to make today’s post short and sweet.
I’m in a reading rut and I need something good.
I’m open to anything – mystery, romance, history.
Give me your best book!!
