Friday Favorites

We’re having some very unseasonably warm temperatures the last few days and it’s supposed to last all weekend!!

I’m super excited because we can get some fall outside work done and maybe even take a bike ride!

Mostly because I’m sick of the tv and this election stuff…anyone else?!?!

I’m linking up with Erika and Andrea to share my favorites from the week.

[one]

My pumpkin game started out strong (aka the top part) but then clearly my carving skills went down hill from there.

I’m going to blame it on the fact that the marker I used didn’t work really well on the pumpkin, but we kind of all know that isn’t the real truth.

I told myself it was a good try.

One of our favorite restaurants brought back brunch and we were there for opening day.

Who can say no to berry compote waffles with vanilla marscapone?

Not this girl.

The Hubster had hot chicken and waffles and well, he’s still dreaming about going back there on Sunday again.

I’m not upset about that prospect at all.

I didn’t think dark nail polish was my thing, but lately I’ve been liking it.

This is My Favorite Jet and I’m liking the sparkles on it.

It’s also a nice departure from my usual pink!

[four]

I made Mix and Match Mama’s Sloppy Joe Stuffed Spuds and they were amazing.

The sloppy joe part ended up tasting like chili without the beans and since I’m not a beans fan, it was perfect!

The Hubster even liked it!

Sean Connery Dead: 'James Bond' Actor Dies at 90

Sean Connery is a super favorite in my house.

We were so sad to hear that he passed away last weekend.

When we were in the Bahamas many years ago, we took a tour bus by his house. I told The Hubster I was going to try to swim there from our hotel to see if I could get a selfie.

Clearly I was unable to (a) swim that far or (b) get past what I assume would be security.

I’m glad we can still watch him as our favorite Bond and the original Dr. Jones!

Do you have a favorite Sean Connery movie?
