This month we’re talking about our New Year’s goals.
True confession: I am terrible at keeping New Year’s Resolutions. Terrible.
The Hubster and I decided that in 2016, we were going to go on one date night a month. It didn’t have to be fancy. Just something where the 2 of us did something fun. Which could totally have included roasting marshmallows in the fire pit in the backyard.
I thought to myself – this is 12 dates. Not that many.
That resolution was a complete and total failure.
We went on maybe 4 dates. Terrible.
We are not good at keeping resolutions. Or dates apparently.
I like that we’re looking at 2017 Goals instead of resolutions. It seems less scary.
So without further adieu…
- Go on regular dates – shoot for once a month but definitely at least 6 during the year.
- Work on being healthier – go for walks, start spin class again, stop eating mini pizzas all the time.
- Make time to catch up with old friends who I’ve lost touch with
I think I’ll start with these and maybe add them if I need some more.
