So The Hubster and I decided that we should consider being smarter with our money, so I’ve been put on a budget.
This is greatly limiting my ability to buy cute new outfits.
But…
That doesn’t mean I can’t window shop the sales!!

If you haven’t gathered from my crazy amount of references, I am a HUGE Gilmore Girls fan. So I pretty much freaked out with the rest of the world when ohmygosh they’re coming back!
SPOILER ALERT. I’m going to talk about the Netflix revival, so don’t read any further if you haven’t seen it!

Yes!!! It’s time for some fall clearance at Nordstrom!
And I totally think that because it’s “fall clearance” that it doesn’t count as Christmas shopping for myself!

Last week I had a few hours to kill in between meetings and I was across the street from a mall! Gasp! What was a girl to do but head inside and find some goodies!

Yay! It’s one of my favorite days – Target Tuesday! Let me show you what I found this week!

Today I would like to introduce you to Sassy Mama. She loves fashion and jewelry and holiday decorating as much as do.
When I first started this blog, Sassy Mama was super excited for me and came up with all kinds of great ideas for me. And I figured I should make her a recurring member of the blog so all of you can get the same advice she gives me! So she’ll be making fun guest appearances here and there.
The Hubster’s out of town so my car magically drove to the mall. And I came home with some delightful goodies!

Did you have a nice weekend? The Hubster worked all weekend (no fun) and I caught up on sleep (much better).

I know I don’t usually post on Saturdays, but these deals were too good to keep to mysel for another day.

These Lucky Brand ‘Bashina’ booties were part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I resisted buying them, even though they are adorable. I just didn’t know if I was going to be able to wear them. And now that I didn’t get them from the sale, they are retailing at $138.95. Kind of pricey. But these Journee Collection Aries Side Slit Booties from Target are only $49.99.
Shopping. Steal.

So these tan booties aren’t really something that I would buy, but I couldn’t believe how much cheaper the Target ones are. The Tom’s Majorca Suede booties are from Nordstrom for $97.95. The Target Mad Love Carly booties look virtually the same and are $32.99. Pretty awesome.

My final shopping steal is kind of too good to be true. The Vincent Camuto Tarita Cutout Laceup Sandal is super cute. I saw someone wearing them online and immediately wanted them. But at $128.95, I wasn’t sure if my credit card (or The Hubster) would be convinced they should be in my life. But then I saw these Delicious Women’s Yorker Faux Suede Cutout Laceup Open Toe Sandal was $21.81 and put them into my cart as fast as my clicking fingers would let me. They arrived Thursday. OHMYGOSH. They’re adorable, comfy, not too high. Perfection. Definitely a shopping steal!

I’m so excited for these shoes. Because I think they’ll transition well into Fall too. Oooh – and maybe with some cute leggings!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend! 🙂
