This has been a particularly busy week for me, so I’m glad to have the weekend to chill out.
Just kidding – I have a work dinner tomorrow night. But I can sleep in and relax tomorrow morning. So that’s a win.

Frantic Shopping
First of all – thank you all for your love and support during the last week. We will miss my Grandpa for sure but know he’s much more happy and comfortable now.
Secondly – this was me last week when I realized I wasn’t quite sure what I would end up wearing to my Grandpa’s funeral.

They trick or treat in my neighborhood on the Sunday before Halloween (I know – it’s weird), so we won’t have any adorable littles ringing our doorbell.

Farewell
I’m writing a sad post today.
My 94 year old grandfather went to be with the Lord and my grandmother on Saturday morning.
He had not been doing well for the last few months. He had fallen a few times and my uncle and dad had to make a few difficult decisions in the past couple of weeks.
We are all so glad that he is no longer suffering and is now enjoying a good night of relaxing with my grandmother and being treated to the greatest concert Pavarotti could perform.
I have a few posts scheduled for the week, but I’m taking the week off to be with my family.
