August’s topic is a day in the life.

Warning – I forgot to take pictures of some of my day. hehe

Here’s a quick caveat to my day in the life. I kind of forgot to take pictures all day. Yesterday.

It had to be yesterday because well, I forgot about this blog post.

I need to relax. 🙂

Or a Hawaiian vacation.

Hint, Hint, Hubster!

I got up at 7am.

I bought the Ava bracelet so I could track my fertility. But it’s nice to see all the other biometric stuff they track – temperature, sleep time, heart rate, etc.

My usual day is get to work, have a morning meeting with the team, get a coffee, and start to my day.

I mean…doesn’t everyone want a stack of papers like this for Monday morning?!?!

It wasn’t that bad, really.

I paid some bills!

I did some payroll work.

Then there was a little bit of time that went by before I remembered to take another picture. hehe

I took a little break and had a snack. On Friday, I had some dill pickle dip and pita chips. While it sounds gross, it’s actually quite delightful!

I had a late lunch. And it’s not as bad as it looks.

Pizza Hut lets you get a take out salad for $6 and it’s pretty great when you want a quick salad.

Zero pictures were taken during the rest of my day. 😦

I left work around 6:15.

After I got home, I started making Mix and Match Mama’s Easy Turkey and Rice Skillet.

It was sooo amazing. 🙂 We’ll be eating leftovers tomorrow too!

We’re addicted to working on this puzzle and I’m trying to figure out how to get all of the bottles done because they all look the same.

The border is also a killer.

And a confession – I am obviously super behind in Scandal and I’m just now catching up on the last few episodes of the last season.

They are good. And I think I kind of waited because I didn’t want it to be over.

Then I headed to bed!
