[what we’re eating this week]

I made Mix and Match Mama’s Easy Turkey and Rice Skillet.

I did add an extra can of tomato sauce so it’s a little more red than hers, but I’m a huge fan.

I also think we need to eat ground turkey more often too. I don’t know why we didn’t eat it so much before.

I’m missing all the fun we had in Asheville!!

I had a work trip and had to drive to Alabama last week. From Pennsylvania.

I drove one way myself and while I don’t generally love being alone for 24 hours, I did enjoy a ton of it.

I’ll blog the trip next week but a highlight is that I stopped at the Alabama Fan Club Museum!

I love fall, but I’m not ready to say goodbye to summer yet!

We started working on this puzzle and now I can’t stop doing it.

Like I stayed up way  past my bed time to do work on it.

I have a problem.

These babies are on their way to me! 🙂

I don’t know what I was waiting for, but I never finished watching the last season of Scandal.

Our DVR is on the outs, so I knew I needed to watch the episodes before they were gone forever.

I’m going to be really sad when it’s over. I have 3 more episodes to go!

I’m re-reading Crazy Rich Asians so I’m fully prepared for the movie! 🙂

I was listening to old 90s Hootie and the Blowfish and started listening to Darius Rucker’s album. It was really good and while I’m not a huge country fan, I do like this album.

I hopped on the kimono wagon and for not a ton of money from Amazon, I now have a really cool one. It feels kind of big, but I think it’s supposed to be like that.

We’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of my father-in-law building his sailboat! should be a fun weekend with the family and celebrating Dad!
