You guys – we’re halfway through fall! I can’t really believe it! Mostly because the weather has been so nice, so I’ve barely worn sweaters. And my Uggs haven’t made an appearance yet!

[what we’re eating this week]

We went out to dinner and I’ve been still chowing down on my bacon mac and cheese (sooo good!).

And I had a work dinner on Monday night and ordered the pork shank from the Octoberfest menu. It did not disappoint.  It’s so giant that I think I might be eating it for the rest of the week. lol

[what i’m reminiscing about]

Last summer, the Hubster and I went on a wine tour at the end of our lake house vacation. It was so much fun and we really enjoyed being there together just relaxing.

How many more times can I give a shout out to my Hunter boots? 🙂

[what we’ve been up to]

We’ve been super busy this October.

We visited Chicago. We took a road trip to Annapolis. Our friends visited us and I went on a work trip.

It’s been a good October for us!

[what i’m dreading]

Unfortunately now, we’re closer to this weather than farther away.

That’s sad.

I don’t love the snow as much as I used to. haha

[what i’m working on]

I was a featured interview for the PA manufacturing week. I had no idea it was happening until I found out from some friends that they had seen me in it.

It’s quite funny.

It’s also super exciting!

[what i’m excited about]

My mom documented our entire growing up by snapping pictures of us doing everything. She has like a million albums of our old pictures and no backups. So I think I’m going to get them all organized for her as part of her Christmas present. (She doesn’t read this blog, so I think I’m in the clear!)

[what i’m watching/reading]

No joke – I’m totally watching all the Christmas movies on Hallmark that start this weekend.

I cannot help myself.

They are my favorite.

There was a little preview show on Sunday and all the new movies look amazing!

I think I might be late to the party, but I just downloaded Killing Lincoln. I hope it’s good!

[what i’m listening to]

For some reason, the Goo Goo Dolls are on repeat on my phone the last week or so. I’m not quite sure how they got to be, but I’m loving their old hits!

I found this dress when I did some shopping (and wasn’t supposed to be!) and totally fell in love. When it arrived, it totally lived up to every single expectation I had for it too!

We’re celebrating my grandpa’s 94th birthday!

He’s one of the most special people in my life and I’m so excited to see him and hang out.

Can’t wait to spend Thanksgiving with all of these amazing people I get to call family!

I really (really) want this Pelton bike.

The Hubster has his doubts, but I’m working on him.

Basically, I told him I would stop buying shoes (hahahaha) and use that money for the bike.

Rightly so, he is a bit skeptical. 😉

Maybe by Thanskgiving I’ll have this bike! I’m really pumped for it!
