Yay! Books!

It’s been forever since I read enough books to warrant a book club post, but today is the day!

I randomly found The Nantucket Inn when I was clicking on nonsense on Amazon. (Don’t shake your head at me…we all have gone down the Amazon hole…)

What a super cute book! It was definitely chick lit, but the story was cute and I really really liked it.

My book club picked Water for Elephants and I have to say…I didn’t like it.

I have a feeling a lot of that is exactly what the circus was like, but I just didn’t care for it.

And I thought the ending was awful. Almost horrifying.

I’m contemplating seeing the movie to see if I like it better.

On a total whim, I bought the actual book, The Last Mrs. Parrish.

OH MY GOSH.

It was so good and I couldn’t stop reading it!

It was really good and I didn’t envision some of the plot twists.
