This is me today!

Also it’s Christmas in July this month, so doubly this me. haha

We’re heading off to celebrate my Dad’s birthday tonight!

I have a feeling it’s going to involve pizza and ice cream at the beach.

And what do you know – some of his favorite things are also my favorite things!

Should be a fun night!

(He’s also getting this hoodie from us as part of his birthday present. He’s going to love it!)

Our sweet little niece (and her fun parents) visited us this week.

She’s so stinking cute I want to eat up her little feet!!

We got in lots of snuggles and can’t wait to hear her little laugh. She’s sooo close to a giggle and hope she breaks it out soon!

We bought this pool to let the baby go swimming.

It was so hot this weekend that after she left, I got in and it was pretty fantastic.

After many years of begging The Hubster to put in a pool, he thinks this is a decent compromise.

I don’t know if I would call this compromise or desperation. hahahahaha

I made us this cheese board the other day and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

I see many a cheese board in our future.

I also HIGHLY recommend these veggie blend crackers.

They are really tasty!

We’ve been eating them like crazy over here.

The Hubster’s cousin Reid and his new wife, Natalie, popped in for a visit on their road trip to California.

We had some lunch and ice cream and caught up about all the fun we had at their wedding a few weeks ago.

It was so nice to see them and catch up.

Now we’re going to have to go visit them in San Francisco!
