Today we’re going to talk about dry skin.
(Hope you didn’t just gag reading that. haha)
I have the worst dry skin. It gets marginally better in the summer, but it’s the worst in the winter.
I’m allergic to parabens, so most lotions and moisturizers are out for me.
The one thing I can use is Vaseline.
While it kind of works, I end up feeling super sticky for a long time and can’t really put it all over my body before I go to work.
My co-workers would never let me live it down if I showed up to work shiny every day.
I’m unsure how makeup sticks to Vaseline too.
I just tried this shower oil and I’ll be honest…after 3-4 weeks of almost continuous use (I didn’t take it out of town with me last weekend…so 2 showers), I don’t really see that much of a difference.
I’m going to keep using it because it wasn’t cheap and maybe after I use the whole bottle on myself I’ll notice a difference.
I do use this organic lotion on my body after showers and before bed, but maybe I’m missing something?!?
So I’m throwing it out there today – maybe you can help me out and let me in on what makes your skin not so dry.
