Today’s Book Club day!

Oh my gosh, I loved The Widow of Wall Street by Randy Susan Meyers.

I’ll totally admit it here. I have a kind of weird fascination with the Bernie Madoff case. Maybe it’s because I work in Finance, maybe because I am so shocked by how someone could have stolen billions of dollars without anyone noticing. Especially with all of the oversight and technology available.

This is a fiction book but was so good. I couldn’t stop reading it!

I bought this book because I thought it might be interesting because I once lived on Long Island and am familiar with some of the happenings in the Hamptons.

But this book was awful.

I couldn’t even finish it because I wasn’t really sure what was happening.

I loved this book.

It was a really fun read. The story was cute and if you’re looking for a good poolside read this month, this is perfect for you!

in twenty years was such a good book.

It’s about a group of friends who get together after 18 years of college. Yikes – because I’m 13 years out and holy cow – how did I get that old?

I love how it talks about how the relationships change and they’re all not where they thought they would be and it resonated with me. I highly recommend it.

We’re heading out for a week of (hopeful) relaxing and reading so next month I’ll have some good ones for you! 🙂
