Weekend Shenanigans

We just got back from a quick road trip to Washington DC. It was so much fun!

Every year, around this time, we head to DC for Savor, a craft beer festival. One of The Hubster’s friends introduced us to it and it’s so much fun. Last year was the first year my brother-in-law and sister-in-law went and I think we’re going to make it a tradition!

I think my phone is full of selfies that look like this. lol

I was super excited to hang out with my sister-in-law. We don’t get to see each other as often as we’d like, so it was fun to have a night to just chill together. She’s a stylist and starting her own blog, so once it’s up and running, I’ll let you know and you can check her out!

So Savor has a lot of well known micro-breweries that make special batches just for this show.

Sam Adams made one that was uh-mazing.

I’m not a beer girl – I prefer wine or mixed drinks, but this one was so good. I wish they sold it because I would totally drink this all. the. time.

These guys. The Hubster and my brother-in-law (far left) have known 2 of these guys since Kindergarten (!!!) and the other since 9th grade.

It’s so awesome that they’re all friends and still like to hang out together. They are missing a few from their group here, but it’s always fun to see them together.

My peeps are the best.

I have all the heart eyes for this guy!

This is my girl here. The Lord knew that we would be sisters and I am so happy about that.

Sunday morning, we got up and headed to brunch at our friends Matt and Kirsten’s house. It was really fun to see them and their girls. We haven’t seen the girls in forever and I couldn’t get over how big they’re getting. They’re adorable.

After that we headed to see my cousin’s family. They had a baby at Christmas and we haven’t had a chance to head down to meet up with the. Baby M is the cutest (he also looks exactly like my cousin!) and we got to love on him for a bit. It was so fun.

On our way back, I convinced The Hubster to stop at the outlet mall and I popped into Kate Spade real quick.

They had stuff 60% + 20% off, so I scored 2 bracelets for $40!! Winner!!

Fun weekend for sure! đŸ™‚
