I’m looking forward to this weekend for sure. We’re going to a gala with friends and celebrating my in-laws’ birthdays. Fun times!

This adorable Hadley bag is surprising my mother-in-law on Sunday! (She doesn’t read this blog.)

I have a few Vera Bradley pieces – I’m not as crazy about her as some of my friends, but this piece just screamed summer and my mother-in-law to me. I totally see her carrying this all summer on the boat!

Dress: Fringe Pink Tweed Drape-Front Dress | Banana Republic

I briefly discussed this dress yesterday, but let’s talk about it again.

I know. This dress isn’t really “me” in a lot of ways.

But, Friends, I got this dress for $13.49.

Let me say that again.

I GOT THIS DRESS FOR $13.49!!!!!!!!!!

My local Banana Republic was having a 50% off sale and I got this dress for half off. It normally retailed at $138.

I wore this to work on Wednesday and it was a huge hit!

The Hubster hates it. Says it looks like I’m wearing a table cloth.

I don’t even think I care. 🙂

I know the laws are different in each state and sometimes this varies from town to town, but full service gas stations are my jam.

Earlier this week I had to stop and get gas but it was cold and rainy.

Thankfully we have a full service gas station and for that, I am grateful.

I just discovered you can make your own Havaianas!!

I pretty much live in these flips from May to October.

I can’t wait to try it out!! I’ll let you know what my final ones look like!

But now I am coveting the pair above. Hmmm.

One of these ceramic box openers came in a pack of scissors I bought this week.

Life changing.

So much better than poking around with scissors or the razor blade that’s on my desk.
