In the same way that I know how Christmas is about the birth of Jesus, I am of the same mind at Easter in that it’s about the death and resurrection of Jesus.
But can I be superficial for a minute and say that I’ve been looking for an Easter Sunday dress?
This year, Easter will be a double celebration because my nephew is turning 4 on the 16th. We’ll probably also celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday, my birthday, my mom’s birthday, and my mother-in-law’s birthdays too. Because everyone has birthdays in a 6 week period in this family.
So obviously I need something cute to wear.
This Felicity & Coco Floral Lace Shift Dress looks like it would be perfect for Easter brunch. It’s not too fitted so I can still move around. And let’s face it…eat a lot of ham.
I love how flowy this ASTR Adeline Floral Print Wrap Dress looks. I hesitate because I generally never look that great in wrap dresses. We’ll have to evaluate.
I have no idea why this image is so small. But I’m really liking the colors in this Adrianna Papell Women’s Bolero Neckline Scuba Dress.
Since I’ll be in church, this Strip Cascade Slipdress isn’t the greatest choice. But I do like the stripes. And how fun it looks.
My last choice was this Lilly Pulitzer Delfina Wrap Dress.
I keep seeing Kristi at happily ever griedls wearing Lilly and I always think to myself – you can love it too.
So I do love it but it didn’t love me.
I’m wearing 4.5″ heels in this dress and it’s still hanging on the floor. lol
So many fun choices. I’ll let you know what I decide!
Love that Lilly dress on you! I totally feel you on those maxis though- they’re always so long on me! And I figure for the price of them- I don’t want to pay to have them hemmed up 😦 love all your choices!!
