It’s time to share more about our trip to Louisville!

Yesterday, I talked about how we went on a ghost tour and toured the Louisville Slugger Museum.

Today, it’s all about horses!

One of my bucket list items is to attend the Kentucky Derby.

I audited horse and dog tracks when I first started working and it’s always been super interesting to me. Plus, do you remember that show, Wildfire? Well that made me like horses too.

It was really fun to be at Churchill Downs. The facility was way bigger than I had imagined.

These horses are so beautiful.

I am always in awe of how big and powerful they are.

We popped into the museum and of course I had to have my picture taken in the winners circle!

We headed to our second distillery – Angel’s Envy.

If you’re a bourbon or whiskey fan, when you walk by the barrels, it smells so good!

Ok, so the whiskey was good, but you guys…the CHOCOLATE!

It melted in your mouth.

It was so good that we bought 2 boxes of chocolate in the gift shop!!

We headed to dinner and then went back to our AirBnB to rest up for the next day of bourbon tasting!
