I never really thought about what Kevin’s dad did to afford the house.

Until the other day when the Uncle said something about his free trip.

I need my brother (or one of my brothers-in-law) to step up their games.

Not Christmas, but my mom and I had a good laugh over this one.

I used to be like, “hey mom, I need some poster board for a project tomorrow.”

“Maybe you should get 2 because I might make a mistake.”

And since I’m me, she would insist, and I mean insist, that I wrote my words in pencil first before I went over it with marker, because you can’t erase it once you write it on there.

My brother chimed in and noted that he used to tell my mom that he needed cookies for a bake sale the next day at 9pm.

It’s no wonder she always had brownie mix in the cupboard that we could never make.
