Oh my goodness am I excited to share what I’ve been reading!

Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline

I feel like everyone read Orphan Train a million years ago and I found that it was in my Kindle but I hadn’t read it yet.

It was amazing.

It was heartbreaking.

I loved how full-circle the book was and the parallels between the characters, Molly and Vivian.

It was such a good book and I felt like I needed it to be just a tiiiny bit longer.

Pretty Things by Janelle Brown

I have no idea what made me read Pretty Things because it’s not my usual kind of book.

But it was actually really good.

There were a bunch of twists and turns I didn’t see coming and it actually ended on a real not, not a cliffhanger.

I thought this would be a thriller and it wasn’t really. I don’t know how to classify it, other than that it’s about how life isn’t always how it seems and sometimes when you look deeper, you’re not too different than everyone else.

Everything Beautiful In Its Time - By Jenna Bush Hager (Hardcover) : Target

I loved Jenna Bush Hager’s book, Sisters First, so I thought I would read her newest memoir, Everything Beautiful in Its Time.

What a really sweet book.

It’s a tribute to her grandparents – both the famous and the non-famous ones.

I feel like Jenna and I would have so much in common and kind of want to just have lunch with her.

In a non-weird, stalkerish way. hahah
