It’s book club day! 🙂
I thought I would share what I’ve been reading these days.
I have no idea how I ended up reading an Amish novel, but this one was so so.
It was super short and over before I knew it! I also thought it was a romance crime novel and not so much.
I wish there had been some more character development. Because it was so short, the whole thing moved rather quickly and you didn’t really get to know anyone that well.
The Last Time I Saw You is by the same author as The Last Mrs. Parrish and let me tell you, this one did not disappoint!
The book starts with the murder of the main character’s mom and she basically spends the book trying not to suspect everyone in her life while trying to figure it out.
I did not see the end coming at all. But don’t take my word for that because well, I never see any of that stuff happening! hehe
This is the sweetest and loveliest tribute to First Lady Barbara Bush.
Mrs. Bush felt like my grandma (and probably the same to many people) and this book just capitalizes on how she made everyone feel so seen and loved.
