I loved this picture of all of us on our trip and now it means so much. I hope Nashville knows how much we love them and we’re still thinking of them.
Come on in for Part 2 of our trip.
Click here to see part 1.
Our first full day in Nashville, we did a food tour and as we were waiting for it to start, we found a Jeni’s ice cream!!
I would have had some but we were starting a food tour.
We tried to go back before we left but the hours did mesh with ours. Bummer.
The food tour kicked off with BBQ tacos and margaritas.
Um, yes!!
We passed a Draper James store.
If you don’t know Draper James, it’s owned by Reese Witherspoon, who is from Nashville.
It’s adorable and we didn’t get to go in but it’s the cutest store.
They also offer all husbands some sweet tea and a seat for while their wives shop.
I’m fairly sure we can get The Hubster to go back there!
From there we tried Edley’s hot chicken and bourbon sweet tea.
I had no idea that hot chicken was a thing or that it was a Nashville thing.
I tried a bite of it and my entire mouth was numb.
I’m not kidding.
I don’t like spicy things so much but this was insanity.
The guys were sweating.
It was madness.
You guys – hot chicken is HOT.
We cooled our mouths off with some ice pops!
And headed to another BBQ place, Martin’s, where I didn’t take any pictures.
I totally forgot to take a picture, but I got a redneck taco and it was pretty delicious.
We walked by the Sun studio which is where Whitney Houston recorded I Will Always Love You for The Bodyguard and where a ton of other famous artists come to record.
The Hubster bought a cowboy hat.
We hung out in Printers Alley.
I love how he will indulge my crazy sometimes. π
Just hanging out and finding some new music was really fun.
That was just one day!
We headed back to the house for some comfy clothes and ordered some not spicy chicken. π
Great post π
