Yeah! It’s time to link up with Shay and Sheaffer to talk about What’s Up Wednesday for June!
Now that it’s full on summer (minus all the rain), we’re ready for lots of fun stuff!
[what we’re eating]
I’m in NYC this week for work and I *might* be enjoying the gin bar at my hotel.
The Hubster is eating cereal while I’m gone. 😉
[what i’m reminiscing about]
Hawaii.
I’m always reminiscing about Hawaii.
[what i’m loving]
Yeah…I was that close to Donnie Wahlberg at the NKOTB concert! 🙂
[what we’ve been up to]
I feel like our life sometimes is an endless cycle of driving places and then going through the car wash.
[what i’m dreading]
Our good friends are moving to Ohio in a few weeks and we are quite sad and will miss them terribly.
Completely the right move for them and their family.
Not fun for me to lose someone to catch up with every week.
[what i’m working on]
I’m not quite sure how it happened, but our lawn seems to be almost completely taken over by clovers and flowers.
And while part of me is happy that it’s green and who cares.
It looks awful.
We might be at the point where we need professional assistance.
[what i’m excited about]
We’re going to Charleston, SC in August and we’re really excited about all the cool things to do there.
[what i’m watching/reading]
My book club is reading Rhett Butler’s People which is a sequel to Gone With the Wind.
My mother thought I was the last person on earth to not have seen the movie or read the book.
Turns out I’m not, but I watched the movie and LOVED it.
It was funny and interesting.
I thought I would hate it, but I really loved Gone With the Wind.
Now I’m trying to read the sequel and let’s just say that I’m hoping a movie will come out about it in the next 3 weeks…;-)
[what i’m listening to]
I always need some good boy band music for the summer and the Jonas Brother’s didn’t disappoint!
[what i’m wearing]
See this post – I have been really bad about keeping up with my outfits.
[what i’m looking forward to next month]
I’m getting away on a girl’s weekend with my high school bestie in a few weeks and I can’t wait!
We never do this (and we’re not sure why).
We have big plans to shop around a cute town, eat dinner, have afternoon tea, and catch up on life.
[what else is new]
This sight never gets old.
It’s always pretty fun to see. 🙂
