Growing in Gratitude

my post-2

I’m linking up with Fall into Life today for Growing in Gratitude. We’re talking about the 5 things we were most grateful for last month.

I’m super grateful for modern medicine.

When my heart was acting all weird last week, I had to have 2 EKGs and while they were a little scary (because who doesn’t get freaked when nurses rush in your room and put stickers on you super quickly and then attach wires to you), I’m happy to report I’m back to normal heart rhythm.

I’m so grateful to have spent Easter with these peeps.

They make life fun!

Spending time with some good friends is good for the soul and makes me so grateful to have them in my life.

And these 40th birthday beers are just adorable.

I’m so grateful for Prosit – my favorite German restaurant turned food truck.

The food is so good and I wish I could eat it all the time and not gain weight or feel bad about all the grease. hahah

And finally – I’m grateful that I was able to eat a whole bunch of Peeps at Easter!!

I only eat Peeps at Easter.

I don’t eat them at Christmas, the summer, Halloween, Valentine’s Day or any other holiday that they now come out to play for.

And I don’t eat the flavors.

Yuck.

I’m a traditional girl – yellow, pink, purple Easter peeps.

Yum!!

  1. Haha! I loved reading about your love of Peeps! I’m also glad your health is ok! That can be scary! You definitely had a lot of good stuff to be grateful for. Thanks for linking up!
