This month we’re talking about how we take care of ourselves.
Is it wrong to say the best way to take care of myself is to enjoy a large fruity drink?
No really – I don’t do this every day.
But sometimes, a nice fruity drink is just the medicine I need.
I also like to treat myself to a mani-pedi every once in awhile. My favorite place to get one is in Long Island (where I don’t live anymore), so when I’m in town, I try to stop back. There’s something so relaxing about just taking a few minutes for yourself.
Plus, having someone rub your feet for 15 minutes isn’t a bad thing. 🙂
And I think my favorite way to exercise self care is to take a few minutes to relax and read a book.
It’s really good for my soul.

A big fruity drink is certainly a good idea sometimes! I don’t read as much as I should now that I’ve discovered Audible. Ha ha! I recently just went to drybar for the first time and that was SUCH a treat. I haven’t gotten a manicure/pedicure ever in my life so I’m due!
I need to try a drybar – I keep hearing good things!
