It’s Show & Tell Tuesday with momfessionals!

Today we’re talking about how we serve others.

Let’s be honest here – I am not always really great at serving others.

It’s a total function of the fact that I work so much.

That is a hard reality of my life and I don’t love that.

The Hubster and I do try to do what we can. We attend charity functions when we are invited and try to give generously through donations.

We (try) to attend church on Sundays (I say I have a 60% hit rate…) and give to our parish.

We try to donate to people’s care pages for hospital/care treatment.

I also try to do things for people that don’t include money.

If a friend is having a rough time, I’ll bring them a plate of cookies or a meal. We like to babysit our friends kids so they can go out to dinner or shop or just get out of the house together.

I think in 2018, I’m going to try to figure out how to serve others in a better capacity. It’s about time I get it together.
