You guys – this is my 12th edition of What’s Up Wednesday! Can you believe I’ve been doing this for a year now? I love it!

[what we’re eating this week]

We have been eating an awful lot of Honey Nut Cheerios at my house. I’m not sure why we’ve gravitated towards them, but we seem to not be able to get enough.

[what i’m reminiscing about]

It’s Christmas in July!!

So I have been doing a lot of Christmas movie watching and looking forward to peppermint hot chocolates and cozy blardigans.

Of course it’s over 90 outside, so I’m merely dreaming about this.

[what i’m loving]

I think we all know this but I am totally in love with my Nine West Tatiana heels.

So much so that I can’t stop wearing them and own them in a million different colors.

[what we’ve been up to]

We volunteered to work at food booths at our church festival last weekend.

I was dishing out pierogis. Which initially thrilled me, but 5 hours of looking at all that butter makes my stomach hurt.

The Hubster cooked burgers for a few hours and came home with hamburger bits in his hair!

It was a good thing to do for our parish and we made some new friends, too.

[what i’m dreading]

We’re going away next week (see below) and I’m kind of dreading all the emails and work that will pile up while I’m out of the office.

I know I should be excited about being with family and being on a lake, yada, yada.

I have so much happening at work so I think I’ll be working from a lake house.

Blah.

[what i’m working on]

It’s time to clean out my closet.

It’s more than time to do that.

I have to get ready for all my new shopping sprees! haha

[what i’m excited about]

My father-in-law has a sailboat, the Windzang, that he built himself in the 70s.

The boat is amazing really and we all love to be on it in the summer.

It’s been out of the water for the last 7 years and everyone has been missing the water. Especially The Hubster and his dad. They just need to be on the water.

Last week, the Windzang went in and we got to go on its maiden voyage!

It was really just a moving trip from the launch dock to where his regular slip is, but we didn’t care – we were on the water!

Here we are in the Buffalo River locks. I’d never been in them before so it was a fun experience for me.

Don’t we look happy? We are!

[what i’m watching/reading]

I have an entire season of SVU on my DVR that is unwatched. So I’m making it a priority to finish watching it this summer when there’s not a ton on that I want to see.

I just finished up watching the last part of Scandal.

I’m not sure what we’re watching, but it’s not my favorite shows!

Linkin Park is really out of my usual genre of tunes but I always liked their songs. I was really sad to hear that their singer died last week.

I downloaded some of the songs that I like but hadn’t heard in awhile.

I love this dress – it’s perfect for summer. I’m not sure why my chest looks so giant in this picture, but trust me, the dress is super cute!
