Yay! We made it to Friday!

It’s a really special Friday for us too – today’s my mother-in-law’s very last day of teaching Kindergarten. She retires today! We’re with her today to celebrate all weekend!

The Payless by my parents’ house is going out of business. (The one by my house is too, so I think they’re closing a bunch of them.)

My sister-in-law called me frantically on Sunday afternoon and told me to get to Payless because all the shoes in the store were $1 and they had a bunch left in 6.5.

I made a beeline for the store.

I got these babies for $2.10.

Total.

I have no idea if/when I’ll ever need the pair on the right.

I’ll find an occasion! 😉

I’m bringing back a favorite this week – Tour de Finance.

I picked it because pink. And I work in finance. And that name is funny.

It might be a bit too much for my fingers. But it feels very summer. 🙂

My super awesome mother-in-law is retiring today!!

We are throwing her a pig roast bash tomorrow to celebrate her 41 years of teaching kindergarten.

Can’t wait to share all the party with you guys next week!
