Hurray! It’s time for another Stitch Fix! 🙂

My box this month included a pair of jeans, a sweater, a cardigan, earrings, and a sleeveless top. They were all such cute colors too – this box totally got me in the mood for Spring!

First let’s talk about these lilac Just Black Adorra Skinny Jeans. The night before I got them, I was coveting all the fun new purple stuff that’s in this Spring. So I was pleasantly surprised by them.

I am wearing a scarf that I got forever ago from Banana Republic that I thought would look cute.

I’m also wearing one of my white tees that is actually a boy’s undershirt.

Let me say this again – I’m wearing a boys’ undershirt.

I’ll explain.

A few years ago, I was at a trade show for work and it turned out to be way colder than anyone had expected. Like I only had shorts and short-sleeved shirts but the mornings were in the 50s and I was freezing. We needed some stuff from Walmart so I asked 2 of my co-workers who were going to pick me up a plain white long-sleeved t-shirt. Easy, peasy, right?

Two hours later, they came back and threw a bag at me. I opened it and realized they had bought me a package of boys’ undershirts in a size large. (In their defense, they didn’t spend the entire time looking for me. They couldn’t find what they were actually looking for at the time.)

When I inquired why this is what they got me, they shook their heads and said they couldn’t find any long sleeved shirts.

What?!?

Apparently they wandered around the women’s lingerie section (!!!) and couldn’t find women’s undershirts (!!!) and then they felt like weirdos, so they just ran into the boys section because they figured that I’m little and estimated my measurements against the size chart and grabbed a package of undershirts and left before someone said something to them about being 2 grown men in the womens section.

We all had a laugh and I was stuck with these shirts. But they did fit me. And I now wear them when I’m doing stuff I don’t care about or lounging around at home.

At first I might have yelled, “you think I’m the same size as a 12 year old boy?” at them. And then just decided it was nice of them to grab it for me and said thank you. Even though I find them to be nuts.

Next up is the 41Hawthorn Liss Button Back Striped Pullover. It’s a mint green with grey and white stripes top. It’s cute and lightweight. I just didn’t love it enough to keep it. I think mostly because it felt kind of tight and I couldn’t see myself really wearing it.

I’m not sure why the color looks a little off in the one picture but this 41Hawthorn Carla Crochet Detail Blouse is next.

Yeah, it’s cute, but I didn’t love it enough to keep it. I don’t think I have enough to go with it – it wasn’t really something you wear with jeans or black pants. The pattern was cute though.

I’m a fan of this 41Hawthorn Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan. It’s a real pretty wine color and who doesn’t/can’t love another cardigan. It goes with everything and I think it’ll be good to wear as we get this weird Winter/Spring weather.

Lastly we have these Gorjana Ginnie Half Hoop Earrings. They’re super adorable and I’m keeping them.

They are a little more than I would usually spend on a pair of earrings, but that’s okay. They’re cute!
