We’re going to see Scott Blasey perform tonight. We’ve never seen him before but it should be a fun night out with some friends.

I’m making corned beef and cabbage tomorrow! 🙂

I haven’t made it in forever. I think really I’m most excited about this mustard sauce that we make to go with it. It’s a family recipe that my mother-in-law shared with me. It’s sooo good and basically we could drink it.

I think The Hubster is most excited for the corned beef. ha! I made it a few years ago and accidentally just bought a beef brisket, instead of corned beef. So I pretty much served my dinner party beef that I had boiled for 6 hours. Oy! At least we covered with the mustard sauce.

We just rearranged our living room and now it looks so cozy! I love it so much!

When we lived in our apartment, we used to fight over this chair. But when we moved into this house, the chair got put into the other room and we never sat in it. Now we love how perfect it looks in the corner by the fire. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a book.

I’m pretty much living in this outfit. It’s crazy comfortable and I look way more fit than I actually am! hahahaha

I made a giant pot of mushroom soup on Wednesday and we’re still eating it. It’s so good and I think I could eat it every day. Yum.

I have to note that this wasn’t my best batch of mushroom soup. But it’s still pretty darn good!

Random fact about me – I have loved basketball since I was about 12 years old.

March Madness is such a fun time of the year for me. My Dad and I would always watch the NCAA Selection Show together and then make our predictions. A few years ago I correctly picked all the winners in the first round. It was pretty fun!

This year I love all the #1 seeds – Villanova, Gonzaga, Kansas, and North Carolina. I’m really excited for Gonzaga – I pick them to upset every year so I hope this year they make it. But you can never count out Duke.

So fun. I’m excited to catch a few games this weekend.
