It’s time for Book Club! 🙂
I have no idea why I downloaded this book. (I think it might have been my Kindle free book for the month.)
It was a really sad story and jumped back and forth in time.
Didn’t love it. Didn’t hate it.
I’m in an actual book club and we meet up every 6 weeks. This was the December book and I have to admit, it was awful.
The writing was terrible. The story was kind of stupid.
When I got to the end, there was a note from the author and apparently it was based on his life. So I felt a tiny bit bad, but then I remember that this book was just not good.
#sorrynotsorry
This was my February book club book. I don’t know that I would have picked this on my own, but one of my friends really likes this author, so I thought I would give it a try.
I didn’t like the first few chapters – it felt slow. But then it picked up and got much more interesting. There were a few other places that it got slow and I did’t love it, but I did like the book overall.
And it’s based on an actual person’s life history which is kind of cool.
Oh my gosh. I don’t know if you have read any of Meg Cabot’s books, but I used to read her stuff and love it. I was looking for a fun read and this one popped up in my suggestions and I am so glad I read it.
It is hilarious! It’s an easy read and you won’t be sorry at all.
I might even go back and re-read some of her older stuff. Stay tuned! 🙂
