We just got back from a weekend of parties. I think I’m still coming down off the sugar high!

We actually started the weekend by looking at fishing poles at Walmart during lunch.

Nothing says let’s have a lunch date like rummaging through the fishing pole sales.

This is me – about 5 minutes before we left for Buffalo. I decided the hat would complete my road trip ensemble.  🙂 I don’t wear hats a lot but found they are nice for road trips. I think it’s mostly because The Hubster turns the heat/AC on full blast and it bugs me when my hair blows around.

This hoodie/cowlneck sweatshirt is so comfy and I highly recommend it. I bought it on vacation a few years ago and I wear it all the time. I sized up to a medium so that it was roomier and I have never regretted that decision!

No trip to #buffalove would be complete without snow. We woke up to the white goodness and The Hubster helped out by snowplowing.

Yes. It was as cold as it looked. Brrrr.

While The Hubster was making the outside look nice for the party, I was inside helping to set up.

I mean…could this cake get any cuter? So adorable!!

And the smash cake!?! I’m ding from the cuteness!

A few years ago, I threw my mom’s 60th birthday party (sorry for outing you mom!) and I wanted to have a really cute favor. I knew that I didn’t have time to bake a ton of cookies for the favor, so I googled cookie bakers and found Kimmie. She is amazing and we have all used her ever since.

Birthdays. Bridal Showers. Weddings.

We use Kimmie all. the. time.

She’s reasonable and her work is awesome.

These cookies for this party were no exception.

I might have eaten a few too many on Saturday and Sunday.

We switched gears quickly and went from celebrating a one year old to celebrating The Hubster, his Grandpa, and my sister-in-law at dinner.

The best part about the dinner is that I got to also hang out with my parents and brother! 🙂

We got home later and I basically fell asleep the second I laid down. All those parties totally wore me out!

We didn’t have time to rest because we got up the next day and headed out to set up for a bridal shower!

The Hubster’s uncle is getting married in a month and since we’re a family that celebrates everything (everything), this occasion couldn’t go by without a party.

My sister-in-law made these adorable favors. I love them! My scent is fresh shave and I can’t wait to see what it smells like when I light it up this week.

I have no idea why I stopped taking pictures after this point. I know I have some on my big camera but I didn’t get a chance to download them onto my computer.

Just know the shower was so much fun!

 

Wait! I do have one more! It’s all of us!

These ladies are my family by marriage. Only 3 of them were born into it. We all are so different but we are there for each other and love each other just the same.

It’s a really great thing.
