It’s Wednesday! 🙂
I think I need to seriously caveat this post – I have really not a lot to share this month. So I’m afraid this will be a little bit disappointing.
[what we’re eating this week]
Chicken is cooking in my crockpot for enchiladas! So delicious!
Since we’re home this week, we’re cooking a bunch more. Meatloaf and pork tenderloin are also on the menu this week!
[what i’m reminiscing about]
I’m reminiscing about the awesome light show that I saw at Sak’s Fifth Avenue when I was in NYC earlier this month.
[what i’m loving]
I’m pretty much hanging out at home these days, curled up with a drink, a snack, my Christmas pajamas (see below) and a Christmas movie.
[what i’ve been up to]
I’m on a break from work until the new year (yay!!) so I started to purge a bunch of stuff that we don’t need. It feels so good to have my closet organized and my drawers all set.
It also opened my eyes to how many pairs of sock I seem to have accumulated!
[what i’m dreading]
I love my Christmas decorations. Love them.
Taking them down is such a drag. I’ll probably have them up until the weekend after New Year’s because I like to wait until after the Epiphany, but it’s so sad.
And then my living room looks giant.
[what i’m working on]
Pretty much me. This week. 🙂
[what i’m excited about]
I can’t wait to spend some more time next week with these people!! They’re all my favorites! 🙂
[what i’m watching/reading]
The Hallmark Channel is basically on 24/7. It got so bad that I was staying up way past my bedtime to watch the end of whatever movie was on.
It’s a good thing we’re on vacation this week because I’ve been watching until my heart’s content all day!
I have really loved the other 2 books in this trilogy – Winter Street and Winter Stroll.
So I’m really looking forward to reading Winter Storms.
(And I got an autographed copy from Barnes and Noble! Score!)
[what i’m listening to]
Pentatonix Christmas album is amazing.
I highly recommend it!! 🙂
[what i’m wearing]
If I don’t have to go to work, I pretty much exclusively wear Christmas pajamas.
Yes. That’s what I’m wearing these days. hahaha
[what i’m doing this weekend]
It’s Christmas! 🙂
The Hubster and I will be spending lots of time around this tree. We’ll be giving thanks, sharing gifts and spending time with those we love!
[what i’m looking forward to next month]
We kind of spent a ton more money than we had originally thought about this year. So I’m looking forward to getting on a budget and saving some money. There are a few trips we would like to take and a couple other things I’d like to plan for.
As much as I don’t want to it’ll be good for us to start saving.
[what else is new]
Here’s a sneak peak of my latest Stitch Fix! Come on back tomorrow and see what goodies arrived this month!
[bonus: favorite memory from 2016]
Best part of 2016 was the trip we took to Maui.
I love the beach. I love the beach. I love the beach.
Yes. This is the most unflattering selfie ever. 😉
