The Hubster and I took a drive on Monday and it was so much fun. We hadn’t done that in a long time and we had a blast. He loved driving his little car around and I don’t think there’s anything better than a car nap!  And best of all it was time spent together.

I don’t have a picture but I got to snuggle the cutest little munchkin last night.  He’s 10 days old and just the most adorable baby. We can’t get over how he looks like both his mom and dad at the same time. Such a sweetheart.

I wore these Kady Ponted Toe Ballet flats to a trade show yesterday and they were so comfortable! I was a little nervous I might not like standing in them all day but they were pretty good. Also the pants – perfect trade show pants. Comfy. Look good with a polo shirt. What more could I ask for?

On Wednesday, we celebrated my Airplane Day. 34 years ago, I embarked on my most exciting adventure – meeting my parents for the first time. I know I look terrified in this picture, but trust me, I was thrilled! 🙂

In celebration of my airplane day, The Hubster took me out for dinner last night. I know it was on the actual day, but he was working late and I was out of town. So we headed to The Supper Club and I enjoyed some yummy scallops!

What are you guys up to this weekend? My parents are coming to visit us tomorrow and bringing a special guest – my grandpa! He’s 93 and doesn’t travel very often, but I’m so happy he decided to come down and see us. I can’t wait to show him where we live and work. Will be a fun weekend with him for sure!

And tonight – I’m taking my favorite 9 year old for Chick-fil-A and a shopping date at Barnes and Noble. I’m not sure who is more excited about the book store, Rosa or me!
