It’s Friday!

And we’re hoping that we can be home all weekend! Wahoo!

The good news is that my father-in-law’s surgery was successful and he’s recovering nicely. Thanks for all of your love and prayers!

My father-in-law decided to “trim” a few trees and this was the outcome. (This was his last “project” before surgery.)

It looks like a q-tip!!

He is quite happy with his results.

The rest of us are giving that tree a HUGE side eye.

It is kind of funny.

My brother and I love this steakhouse onion cheese.

I usually can only find it when I’m in Buffalo, but a tiny little grocery store I just found had it in stock.

Winner!!

We went out to dinner.

There were chips and salsa.

I barely ate any dinner.

But the chips and salsa are just so darn good.

I love me a good peanut donut.

I’ve only ever seen them in the Buffalo area.

I brought one back for breakfast this week and it was sooo tasty!!
