I love this time of year – there’s twinkly lights everywhere and my house looks so awesome all decorated. It’s my favorite!

We made a trip to, where else, Lowes.

We needed a new wreath – the old one was just destroyed from the winter, and someone might have accidentally packed a Santa and reindeer figurine and the reindeer antlers are now off. And by off I mean, I found them in a pile at the bottom of the bin.

Sad.

The Hubster tried to glue them back on but no dice.

Such is life.

He cheered me up with a peppermint hot chocolate.

And all was right in the world. 😉

I think I say this every year, but my Kitchen-Aid is a stud.

It mixes 6 cups of flour without even breaking a sweat.

I’ll be in love for the rest of my life.

I convinced The Hubster to watch Miracle on 34th Street and it didn’t take us long to point out the plot hole that we all think about every year.

Brian Bedford proposes on their first date.

Dude.

I love these movies and even I think that was a little premature!

Of course, they get married on their second date and I don’t find that weird at all.

I know I don’t *need* these sparkly booties, but aren’t they just perfect for Christmas?

I’m having a moment with mercury glass trees this year.

I’ve bought a whole bunch of them and now just need to set them out.

Hopefully I can get my act together and take pics of my house to show you!
