We hung out with some friends recently and watched some movies.

This is miraculous for a few reasons.

(1) I didn’t fell asleep.

(2) Four people with drastically different views of movies were able to agree on 2 (!!) movies!

The Death of Stalin was ranked as a comedy and got really good ratings, so we all decided to give it a shot.

It wasn’t so much a comedy like haha but trying to make light of the awful stuff that happened in Russia.

You can’t really make “light” of a dictator’s reign of terror, so I’m not so sure about the whole “comedy” piece.

There were some funny moments. And it was weird to see a whole Russian movie where there weren’t subtitles or Russian accents.

I don’t really recommend this movie.  We were all like meh on this one.

The second movie we decided had awful reviews, but The House turned out to be so funny.

How did we ever live without Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler?

This movie was hiliarious.

And it also reminded me that I never agree with the reviews. 🙂

If you need a good laugh, I highly recommend The House.
