It’s been awhile since I’ve done a life lately post.

Come on in and see what we’ve been up to.

My Leadership group planned a pub crawl to benefit a local animal rescue group.

We had a really good time planning it and the pub crawl turned out okay!

We had a work dinner and awards ceremony and I took this picture and sent it to my mom.

This was the second time in two weeks that I had mascara and lipstick on.

Before these 2 instances, it might have been since my brother-in-law’s wedding (in 2015) where I had both on at the same time.

Obviously this was a noteworthy event. 😉

It was finally warm enough outside for me to wear my summer hat to brunch! 🙂

We were in Buffalo last weekend and my nephew’s pre-school class was the opening act at the local music festival.

They were all adorable and sang The Grand Old Flag.

From the music festival, we took M out for his 5th (when did he get so big!) birthday.

Instead of buying him endless amounts of stuff he doesn’t need, we decided to take him somewhere to hang out.

He’s never been to Chuck E Cheese so that’s where we took him.

Either we’re amazing at this aunt and uncle game, or we’re idiots.

We haven’t figured out which one yet.

It’s unclear who had more fun.

We may have ruined him for life though.

When we got to Chuck E Cheese, M said to us, “I always thought this was the post office!”

Whoops – we ruined that for his mom.

hahahaha

I got in a little skee-ball myself.

And just when I was dreading counting all of the tickets, this machine popped up.

Do you know how long I spent counting individual tickets as a kid?

This is amazing.

We all had a great time and M was a happy camper. 🙂

I also have no real desire to go back for a very long time. hehe

We had some time to stop at The Hubster’s favorite car wash.

It’s crazy reasonable and someone totally cleans out the inside of your car.

It’s amazing. 🙂

And for behaving during the car wash, ;), I stopped in to my favorite hot dog place for a little treat!
