It’s Show & Tell Tuesday with momfessionals!

Today we’re showing off a day in the life.

Before we get started – I should say this should be titled “days in the life” because most of the day I forgot to take a picture. Whoops!

I took zero pictures about what I do before work.

I get up – take a shower – get dressed – go to work. 🙂

We start every morning at with with an 8am meeting where we all catch up on what happened yesterday and formulate a plan for the day.

I assumed no one wanted to be included in my blog.

On this day, I ended up stopped for breakfast on the way into work. I treated myself to a hot apple cider and a donut.

While I was enjoying my breakfast, I started up my computer and got to work for the day.

My background is a picture I took in Jamaica. On bad days, I can pretend I’m back there if I stare at it really hard.

Probably I just pretend that and it kind of makes me sound crazy.

And for the next few hours, I worked on financial statements.

I don’t do this every day, but on this day, that’s what I did.

It’s actually one of my favorite accounting things to do.

Note: The Hubster and I went to grab lunch together and I don’t know why, but I took no pictures.

I had a Pilgrim sub. (It’s stuffing bread with turkey, gravy, tater tots, cranberry sauce, and cheese. It’s delish!

During my lunch I did a little blogging 🙂

After lunch it was time for invoice entering and organizing for bill paying.

I know.

You can probably barely stand the excitement of my job.

On this day, I got upset because my Tory Burch wedges let me down. The inside sole kept coming out and sticking to my heel when I walked.

Frustrating.

I thought expensive wedges weren’t supposed to do this stuff.

I was able to remedy this situation by walking into the back and getting super glue from one of the guys.

I’m not great at super glue.

It really hurts when you accidentally glue your shoe to your foot.

When we got home from work, we whipped up a bolognese dinner from Blue Apron.

I cleaned up from dinner.

Does anyone else wash plastic tupperware? My mom thinks it’s bad to put them in the dishwasher and I just always hand washed them. Other people I know just use the dishwasher for everything.

Thoughts?

Then we settled in to watch an episode of Modern Family from the DVR.

Then apparently my picture taking stopped.

Mostly because I fell asleep on the couch.

The Hubster woke me up around midnight and told me to go to bed.

* the reason there’s a breakfast try with a light over it is because The Hubster was doing some work and wanted to sit there. Seeing it now makes me feel like we’re complete weirdos. We probably are!

So that’s a day in the life! 🙂
