Last weekend I needed something at Pottery Barn. The nearest one is at a mall about an hour away, so The Hubster decided to come along.
So he assumed his position in a chair outside Banana Republic and I did a little shopping.
And let me tell you something I found – THE SIZING CHANGED AT BANANA REPUBLIC AND I AM A SIZE DOWN IN MOST OF THE THINGS.
I don’t even care they are messing with my brain. Buying clothes a size down is the best feeling.
I decided to plan ahead with seeing all the Spring colors and look for an Easter dress.
Short Sleeved A Line Vee Neck Dress
This dress is such a fun color but I didn’t know if it was my color. I don’t think I’m an orange person.
I really loved this dress. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it was a little bit big and they didn’t have a size down. But I love the color.
Now that I’m seeing the picture, maybe this isn’t my style. But it’s so cute!
I should have bought this dress.
I seriously should have bought this dress.
I knew it when I was in the dressing room and I passed. I’m kicking myself now because it’s not available in my size anymore.
Look how cute the detail is! I didn’t buy this because I thought I didn’t need another black dress.
Turns out. I did! 😦
It looks like these flutter sleeve dresses are in this year. Sadly this one was too big but I’m still thinking about getting it online.
Might be adorable for Easter. Or work.
White Oak High Rise Medium Wash Straight Jeans
These jeans are supposed to be crops. Clearly my height makes them regular sized on me. hehe
They were so soft. I wanted them badly.
But they were too big. 😦 Sad
This shopping trip was a big bummer. Big thanks to The Hubster for being patient while I tried on a million things and bought nothing. 🙂
omg so jealous of all your shopping. i miss regular clothes! i hate maternity clothes. o and i like the orange on you!
