What I Wore Wednesday

It’s another edition of What I Wore Wednesday! 🙂

Since The Hubster (I mean, we) decided to not spend as much money for a little bit, I realized that I need to get more creative with the stuff in my closet. Some of it I have had forever and not worn in awhile.

I forgot how much I love this sweater. It’s super cozy and warm. And when the wind chill gets to be near zero around here, I need all the warm I can get!

So initially I had wanted to wear this outfit with khakis instead of jeans. What an unhappy surprise to find that my khakis didn’t fit so much after the holiday eating fest that I have done. Boo. I probably could have worn them, but these jeans are far more comfy! 🙂

I got my earrings from Groopdealz, which has amazing designer inspired stuff at a more reasonable price. These earrings were $5 instead of $57. Win!

I have had these pants for years. YEARS.

Like since before I was married. Yikes. I’m thrilled they still fit and also feeling a little bit sad that I’m kind of squished into them. Is that why my leg looks kind of weird in this pic? Or is that my hip?

That being said, this outfit is the perfect business casual work outfit. The sweater is lightweight, so it’s warm without being suffocating. I do wear a tank top under because the V neck is a little more than I usually would feel comfortable wearing. Office or not.

Of course, my go-to black pumps are the best for any outfit! 🙂

I also am wearing a small diamond necklace that The Hubster gifted me for Christmas a few years ago. It’s the same stone as my engagement ring (asscher cut) and I just love it! I didn’t link to it because while I think I know where he got it, I don’t know for sure.

Please excuse that I took this in the work bathroom. lol

I’m unsure if I like this cardigan. It’s from The Limited and I thought it was cute a few years ago. But now I’m not sure if I like this high/low thing.

The striped shirt is from Nordstrom and I do wear it all the time. It’s super comfy and can be casual or dressed up, depending on where I’m going.

And the black jeans…well those are my favorites and a staple in my closet!

I showed you this on Monday but it was so comfy that I thought it should really have been posted here.

It also illustrates that I need some better mirrors in my house! 😉

This outfit is almost entirely from Stitch Fix! The sweater, jeans, and scarf all came together and I think they look cute.

Plus, the boots are really comfy.  I just hope it stops raining so I don’t ruin them!
