The Hubster and I spent the weekend in Buffalo hanging with our families.  Friday night, we met up with our good friends, Shawn and Megan, at Templeton Landing for dinner. The Hubster and Shawn met in engineering school and shared an apartment together in an old folks home.  (More on that in a second)  We got married about 4 weeks apart from each other and their daughter, Emma, is my goddaughter. Happy Birthday Dad!

I want to wish a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Dad today!  I know how incredibly blessed I am to have him in my life.  He’s taught me how to do most everything I know how to do (along with my mom, of course).  From keeping score at a baseball game to listening to every single presentation I’ve ever given to stepping in for the Hubster when he couldn’t attend dance lessons, my dad has done it all.  He’s coached me in every sport I’ve tried to play (track, basketball, softball, tennis) and been my biggest cheerleader. When I scored my first basket, he jumped on a chair and yelled “that’s my girl!” Best. Dad. Ever. Continue reading

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

For many many years, I thought that Nordstrom was an exclusive store and I couldn’t afford anything in there.  Unless it was on super discount sale.  So I just never had the desire to go in there.  My sister-in-law works there, but we never really talked about it.  But then I started to see other people blogs with some cute outfits linked to Nordstrom and I realized that there is stuff there that I can afford and ohmygosh this annual Anniversary Sale is uh-mazing.

Hi!  Welcome to my new blog!

My name is Sarah.  I’m married to the Hubster and we’ve been together since 2004 and married since 2010.  We are both from Buffalo, NY (Go Bills!) but live in a small-town in PA, where we’re happily navigating home ownership and contemplating what it will be like when we take this duo and making it a trio.

First things first…I love shoes, shopping, and all things pink.  And in my opinion, there’s nothing a pair of pink shoes won’t fix.  And if that doesn’t work, I guarantee that a beach in Maui will.

I started this blog to share a little bit about what’s going on in our lives, as well as share my love for the great stuff I find along the way.

Feel free to say hi in the comments or ask away!
